Farmcamp Devt Board

Developing the countryside is crucial to the long-term economic development of the Philippines. Intervention, however, has been limited to large-scale but intermittent, and often corruption-ridden, government projects. This approach thus leads to a mentality that any meaningful development programs should be large-scale and led by government or large private entity.

Lauan University Center brings back the original concept of Bayanihan in helping small farmers and their family. In joining the Farmcamp Development Board, ordinary Filipinos can contribute whatever amount they can to the Farmcamp Fund. The fund is used for the Farmcamps of Lauan University Center. The farmcamp brings together student volunteers to help improve the family farm schools of Pampamilyang Paaralang Agrikultura, Inc. (PPAI), an SEC-registered non-stock, non-profit organization.

We are working on ways to ease the way to contribute to the Fund. In the future we will install GCash and SmartMoney donations. For now only cash and bank deposits are possible:

Account name and Branch: Philippine Foundation for Cultural and Educational Development, Inc. or PFCED, Legaspi-Amorsolo

Account Number: 0321-020208

(For documentation purposes, please fax the deposit slip to Lauan University Center at 9285012.)

Cash donations can be given to Lauan University Center. Certificates of Donation (for tax-exemption purposes) can be given to donors.
